Giving FAQ
How much should I give?
The Bible teaches a tithe, 10% of income, as a starting point for giving (see Numbers 18:21-30). In the New Testament, giving is driven by grace, generosity, and love for Jesus (2 Corinthians 8-9). Grace inspires us to exceed Old Testament giving, but 10% is a great place to start! When we give generously to the local church, we aren’t deciding how much of our wealth to give. We are deciding how much of God’s wealth we are keeping for our own uses.
We encourage you to give prayerfully and generously, not out of obligation but as a response to God’s generosity. To explore what different giving levels could look like for you, check out our Giving Chart.
Can someone help me with my current financial situation?
Absolutely! Start with our Financial Faithfulness Resource for practical steps toward financial freedom. If you are in need of benevolence, please fill out a Care Card and someone from our Care team will be in touch.
What happens to the money we give?
Everything given supports the mission of Transformation Church: to be a multiethnic, multigenerational, mission-shaped community that loves God completely (Upward), ourselves correctly (Inward), and our neighbors compassionately (Outward). Your generosity helps fund ministry initiatives, outreach, and the day-to-day work of the church.
We take financial accountability seriously and handle every gift with care and transparency. Each year, we voluntarily undergo an independent audit to ensure integrity in our financial management. We share these financial statements openly with our community as part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and responsible stewardship.
You can view our 2024 Financial Statements for more details and explore our Four Lanes of Transformation to see how your gifts are making an impact at TC and beyond.
