TC Kids

Welcome to TC Kids!

TC Kids is our children’s ministry for ages 6 weeks to 5th grade. We believe that people of all ages can learn to live Upward, Inward, Outward lives. It’s our desire to walk alongside children, helping them discover what it means to love God completely, themselves correctly, and their neighbors compassionately. Our goal is to partner with parents, guardians, and leaders by equipping them with resources for family discipleship, both at home and in TC Kids small groups.

Parent Commissioning

Our team has made a name change in the title of what we previously called Child Dedication. The focus of these services, has always been to encourage parents as the primary disciple-maker in their homes. It has always been about parents thanking God for the gift of their children, and committing before God and their church family to raise their children in a godly home. Our goal in TC Kids has always has been, and will continue to be, partnering with parents as we seek to help the Next Generation live Upward, Inward, Outward lives, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Parent Commissioning is not a Baptism. It is not a sacrament. It does not impart salvation to the child. We believe that parents cannot “decide” their children’s salvation for them. When children are old enough to understand the concept of sin, the broken relationship between them and God, and believe in His work on the cross and through His resurrection, then they can be ready to make a decision about choosing a life in relationship with God. Parents can, however, lay that foundation by their example and teaching, which will help their children prepare to make that decision when the time comes.
