Teens (6th-12th Graders)
Teens are not the church of tomorrow.
They are the church of today.
The purpose of TC Teens is to help our teens live out the vision of Transformation Church! As part of a multiethnic, multigenerational, mission-shaped community, we want to help them to grow Upward, Inward and Outward. Students are invited to participate in all aspects in the life of TC. Sunday Mornings, they get biblical teaching from Pastor Derwin and Sunday nights are an opportunity to discuss further with trusted adults and provide application that can be lived out in their spheres of influence. There are opportunities for students to serve on ministry teams and participate in Outreach projects throughout the year.
TC Teens focuses helping students live out the 5 Charactersitics of a Transformer – Worship, Connect, Serve, Give, Invite
TC Teens has a variety of options for your students so they can connect in community with each other and with trusted adults who are committed to being present and helping them grow in their faith. Our desire is to partner with parents and guardians to be an additional voice in the life of your teen that is speaking truth and pointing them to Jesus.
On the first Sunday of each month, we host Invite Night.
Invite Nights are fun and high-energy and are a great opportunity for your students to invite their friends to be a part of experiencing TC Teens. They take place at our Indian Land locations and are a great night for students from all locations to be together. Middle School and High School are combined at Invite Nights. They offer a variety of elements such as panel interviews, music, games, and food! These also include themed Invite Nights such as: Squad Wars, Open Mic Night, Luau and Squadsgiving. All Invite Nights are from 5:00pm- 7:00pm and dinner will be provided.
On most 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, we host Connect Nights.
We believe small groups (squads) provide a great opportunity for your teen to consistently be in biblical community with their peers and under the guidance of adult leaders who are committed to helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus. We want to meet students where they are and remind them of who God is, who He says they are and how they can practically live that out. Middle School and High School are splity on these nights. Connect Nights take place at our Indian Land location, with our Lake Wylie Connect Nights coming soon! These nights are from 5pm-7pm and food will be provided.
